The Programs

Traditional Route

Traditional route programs are open to any student, including international students, and offer 18 different options. Traditional route students have the credentials to apply to any professional school.

Rural Health Opportunities Program (RHOP)

Open to Rural Nebraska residents only

RHOP is a cooperative agreement between Chadron State College and the University of Nebraska Medical Center. The purpose of the program is to recruit and educate high school students from rural Nebraska who will return to practice in rural areas of the state. This program represents a commitment and dedication to the education of Nebraskans and quality health care for citizens of the state. Public Health Early Admissions Student Track (PHEAST)

Open to Rural Nebraska residents only

PHEAST is a cooperative program between Chadron State College and the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Public Health. Public health is the science and art of protecting and improving the health of communities through education, promotion of healthy lifestyles and research of disease and injury prevention.
